I am currently obsessed with this amazing elixir adapted from this recipe from the incredible restaurant Dimes in NYC that was featured in the NYT. With two kiddos and a biz, I am running on empty most days. If you are feeling sluggish, this will do you some major good! I suggest using fresh ginger and turmeric if you can get them.
Rejuvenating Goji Berry and Ginger Tea
Yield: four 8-ounce servings
1 cup goji berries
3 cups boiling water
¼ cup lemon juice plus more to taste
2 teaspoons maple syrup
2 teaspoons turmeric
2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons bee pollen
1 teaspoon maca powder
1. Soak goji berries in boiling water until soft, about 10 minutes.
2. Transfer the warm berries and water into a blender along with the remaining ingredients.
3. Blend until very smooth.
4. Serve hot.
